At Darby Downs Equestrian Center our focus is
education and assisting our clients in meeting their goals.
All lessons are private 45-minute sessions.
School horses are available for use and lesson options are available
for both BEGINNER and
INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED riding students.
Haul-in students are also welcome. Both children and adults are welcomed in our lesson program and all
riders participate in preparing the horse for riding by grooming,
tacking up, handling the horse on the ground and after-care.
Lesson students are therefore required to arrive at least 1/2 hour
in advance of their lesson so that they may begin their lesson on
time. Other services available to our students include:
Participation in specialized
day camps, group riding sessions, educational classes with time
devoted to specialized areas of concentration. (These programs
are
scheduled for both adults and children and are
conducted by our intermediate-advanced instructor,
Karen Pikovsky.)
