Karen is an active member of the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA); American Riding Instructor Association (ARIA); United States Equestrian Federation (USEF); United States Dressage Federation (USDF); United States Equestrian Team Foundation; and the Western Pennsylvania Dressage Association (WPDA).  You can find Karen showing horses of her own, as well as those of her clients.  In 2007 she was awarded Year End High Point Champion for the Horse On Course Equestrian Center 2007 Dressage Series - First Level Test 1 - Open Division.  You will see that both she & her students are always in the ribbons.  But, Karen is quick to point out to her students that their education, confidence and the well-being of their horses are more important than winning any ribbon.
