Darby Downs Currently Has Two Stalls Available
Darby Downs Equestrian Center is a boarding facility easily accessible to the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
on 30 acres of rolling hills and pasture.
We limits the number of horses that we board to ensure each horse gets the attention they require.
Our facilities provide many amenities, including:
Darby Downs also offers lesson programs for beginner to advanced riders - child through adult. Our riders are recreational riders, as well as those that have interest in showing dressage, hunter/jumper and combined training primarily at the local competition level.
For more competitive riders, monthly dressage and jumping clinics with USEF R Judge, Nicky Vogel, are scheduled throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall.

Well manicured and maintained stable and field areas;
60 x 120 indoor arena with dust down footing, mirrors and sound system;
60 x 120 outdoor arena (jump equipment available);
2 hours of trails adjacent to the property;
Newly remodeled heated lounge w/viewing area to indoor arena, microwave, refrigerator and hot water station;
Newly remodeled heated restroom;
Hot/Cold Wash Stall;
Boarder Tack Room and Locker Area;
Daily turnout (weather permitting). Turnout hours vary for each season;
30 acres of pasture (mares and geldings separate); and 4 large paddock areas w/heated water troughs in the winter season;
10x10 stalls with rubber matting/sawdust bedding - stalls cleaned 365 days a year;
Farrier on-site weekly;
Veterinary visits scheduled by management to keep all horses on a wellness program; and much more
