10-Year Anniversary

Scout Programs

Darby Downs provides both Girl Scout and Boy Scout Groups the opportunity to fulfill their horsemanship badges. 

(If there are items for the badges that you need covered that you do not see below we can alter the program to include those subjects.)

 

2-Hour General Horsemanship Session Including Some Riding - $25/Participant

(A minimum of 6 participants is required for this program.  Maximum number of participants is 14.)

Tour of Stable - Horsemanship Safety - Grooming - Saddling - Bridling - Miscellaneous Horse Information - 10 minutes of riding

Program conducted by a Nationally Recognized, Certified Riding Instructor

 

1-1/2 Hour Session Covering Only General Horsemanship Education & No Riding

 

$20/participant

(A minimum of 6 participants is required.  Maximum number of participants is 12.)

Program supervised by a Nationally Recognized, Certified Riding Instructor

 

Leaders should schedule programs with Darby Downs at least 1 month in advance.  There is a $50 non-refundable deposit to schedule dates for these programs.
